Tudor Square

Tudor Square is a public space built in 1991 and revamped in 2010, the square is home to the Crucible Theatre, Lyceum Theatre and the Sheffield Winter Gardens. Sheffield Central Library also borders the square, although only the Library Theatre part of the building can be directly accessed from it. The west side of the square is home to a range of pubs, bars and restaurants and The Ruskin Building.

Peace Gardens - Pinstone Street

The Peace Gardens is an award winning public space situated along Pinstone Street, near the Winter Garden and within walking distance of the Millennium Galleries. The Peace Gardens contain the Goodwin Fountain, which has 89 individual jets of water. The fountain is dedicated to Sir Stuart Goodwin the founder of an important Sheffield steel and toolmaking firm. And have eight large water features which make up the Holberry Cascades. The Cascades are dedicated to the leader of the Sheffield Chartist Movement and are located on either side of the four entrances to the main area of the Peace Gardens.
